Spa Cliff Lift Closure

Please note that the Cliff Lift from The Esplanade to the Spa has been closed with immediate effect.

North Yorkshire Council has taken the difficult decision following an independent engineering assessment that has identified a number of issues affecting the lifts ageing infrastructure. It will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
